Process

How an engagement runs.

  1. Discovery and audit

One week of stakeholder interviews, workflow review, and competitive teardown. We deliver a brief naming the core screens and flows that carry the application, and the public pages that surround them.

  2. Architecture and information design

We map the data model, every route, the auth and permission boundaries, and metadata patterns before any pixels are pushed.

  3. Design

Two weeks in Figma. One direction, not three, we make a call so you don't have to vote on aesthetics. We design the application states, not just the happy path.

  4. Build

Three to five weeks of Next.js development with weekly preview deploys. You exercise real flows in the browser, not in a slide.

  5. QA and launch

Cross-browser testing, accessibility audit, redirect mapping so existing URLs keep their equity, and a launch checklist signed off before DNS flips.

  6. Stabilization

30 days of bug fixes, monitoring, and a one-hour training session so your team can operate the app and its content.

Stack

Tools we run with, by default.

  • Next.js 15
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Postgres
  • Drizzle ORM
  • Clerk
  • tRPC
  • Sanity
  • MDX
  • Vercel
  • Hetzner
  • Resend
  • PostHog

We will work in your existing stack when it fits. We swap tools only when the cost of staying is higher than the cost of moving.

Most clients run two or three of these together.

Stack thinking: paired engagements share one measurement layer, one accountability ledger, and one quarterly business review. That's where the compounding comes from.
